HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

The team on Vinson are wasting no time! Having an incredible cache of gear at both Low Camp and High Camp from our previous expedition, the team were light and moved immediately from Base Camp to Low Camp in great weather. Today they took a rest day and tomorrow they will move up to High Camp. Weather window looks good for the next couple of days so they are hoping to use that to their advantage.

Meanwhile a HUGE congratulations to our Last Degree South Pole skiers, Meghan Buchanan & Lucy Rivers Bulkely who hit the South Pole yesterday afternoon in perfect time to celebrate the New Year! They’ll soon head over to Vinson for the next part of their Grand Slam Adventure.
